Business Development Manager

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the GlobeOSS Managed Services product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Business Development Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Principal Responsibilities

• Define the GlobeOSS Managed Services product strategy and roadmap.
• Selling or involved in delivering services to customer.
• Prioritized features and corresponding justification.
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
• Run pilot programs with early-stage products.
• Be an expert with respect to the competition.
• Act as a leader within the company.
• Working with sales team in order to achieve set revenue target.
• Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to define technical product.
• Feature sets, descriptions and specifications, and build solid communication lines between the teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Product Manager.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
• 5+ years of experience in a job in the OSS market.

Essential Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
• Technical background, with experience in OSS.

• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Must be able to travel 50% of the time
• Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
