Unifiedcomms deploys location-based capabilities in UniMAP mobile advertising platform for mobile network operator in Malaysia

MALAYSIA, December 2012 Unified Communications Sdn Bhd (“Unifiedcomms”), a leading application service provider for mobile network operators, has announced an enhancement to its UniMAP mobile advertising platform, which has been running since 2011 at a mobile network operator in Malaysia.

Unifiedcomms’ UniMAP Location-Based Advertising Extension (UniMAP-LBAE) enhancement is a module that provides location-aware advertising capabilities which will allow the operator to deliver geo-targeted and geo-sensitive advertising campaigns.

UniMAP-LBAE’s features facilitate the delivery of timely, location-specific proximity-triggered alerts to the mobile subscriber.
