Technical Implementation and Support Engineer
Position Summary
Responsible for the execution of technical implementation and configuration support as well as post implementation maintenance and support work.
Principal Responsibilities
- To provide primary deployment, enhancement, monitoring, preventive maintenance and configuration support to telecommunication related equipments and services.
- To review, validate and keep track of system configuration design.
- To diagnose and resolve all problems related to hardware, internal software and system operation, availability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall function during an implementation.
- To conduct User Acceptance Test and provide User Training.
- To build internal development and test system mirroring customer production environments.
- To be able to promptly work in emergencies and handle discuprions of service, provide indepth investigation, analysis, and timely resolution.
- To report and escalate customer problems and enhancements with detailed explanation of issue and recommended resolution.
- To provide feedbacks on future product deployment, system performance, features, and functions of the service.
- To create, maintain, and enhance product(s) knowledge base, including technical articles, FAQ’s, sample applications, and/or demonstrations.
Qualifications
- Posses Degree in Computer / Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience & exposure in Telco industry will be an added advantage.
Essential Skills
- Ability to maintain consistency in follow-up actions with customers and suppliers.
- Familiar with Signaling Network, Windows and LINUX environment.
- Knowledge in MySQL and SQL scripting.
- Willingness to travel and on standby 24 X 7 basis.

- Ability to manage and solve complex customer support issues in a dynamic environment.
